Fresh EP by Finnish “newcomers” Chymist (old for Chemist) propose here tales of the past, like reading a heavy and dusty dungeon of some old and abandoned castle, maybe down in the alchemist lab… not your typical Finnish atmospheric BM band, slower overall, but the melodies are well-crafted, the production is not crystal-clear, but the guitar work outstanding. Doom influences, dissonant at times, but immersive.
